A concept album that travels with music from the majestic Danuu River connecting 10 countries by German composer Florian Christol. Florian Christol/Donau "Classical Crossover", a new album of Florean Christolph, "Donau" from 10 countries to engage listeners on a journey through musical journey, from the sources of rivers to the mouth of the river. 12 new emotional songs inspired by the beauty of nature and diverse music traditions rooted in metropolitan and regions along the Danuu River. Florian Christol has a wide variety of guest artists running through land such as Vienna, Budapesto, and Donau Delta to incorporate local musical elements into the composition. Traditional Bavarian folk rhyme ensemble "Ziger Zaitenm Sike", accordion player Vradislav Cojokal, Christina Schkler of Violinist, Cherist's Rafaela Gromes and Alique Rishuk, and former members of the Ukraine Odysa Opera Theater are joining in the Strah Ensemble and Solist. As a childhood, Florian Christol was amazed at how water flows across the dam, in the hometown of Amberg, Bavaria, and eventually reach the distant sea. This little river becomes the second longest river in Europe, the Danube River and reaches near the Ukrainian harbor town Odesa, far east. The Danuu River travels from the German black forest sources to the sea, across 2,857 kilometers totaling half of Europe, connecting cultural centres such as Vienna, Bratislava, Budapesto, and the Greater Bucharest. The river serves as a major traffic route, promoting the development and interaction of European common cultural heritage, especially classic music. When the war began in Ukraine, Florian Christol remembered a childhood surprise that a small river in their home is connected to Ukraine. Inspired by Sengthana's "Moldau" and romantic "subjected music" that creates music on nature, he came up with the idea of creating a concept album of the "Danu" river. Under this vision, we began extensive research on the Danuu River and the cities and regions connected to the river, and diverse natural scenery. A river journey led him to Danuu Delta, where he witnessed the boundaries between peaceful Romanian shore and the Ukraine shore under war. The production of this album was interrupted by a heart attack in the summer of 2023, and this happened to Florian Christol to think about life and what really matters.
